The stunning lady who played a smart character in Aamir Khan’s Delhi Belly is all geared up for a huge assignment in an American drama series called Criminal Justice.
The series is set in New York and the show will be aired on world television. Poorna Jagannathan will portray the role of a Pak woman named Safar Khan whose son is accused of a murder. She added that her role is completely opposite to that of Delhi Belly, but the script is so strong.
“I’ve never played a role like that. Safar Khan’s role will be a roller coaster ride. She goes from believing that her son is innocent which eventually land up making her feel guilty” said Poorna Jagannathan.
