Seems many movie are queued up for Diwali release. What we lately hear is that Audio launch of the much awaited and dragged movie – Poda Podi is all set for its Audio release this October 10th. Its single – ‘Love Pannalama’ by Sony Music is already viral and rocking everywhere. Its a romantic musical film written and directed by debutant Vignesh Shivaa, featuring Silambarasan and Varalaxmi Sarathkumar in the lead roles.
The score and soundtrack of the film are composed by Dharan, while cinematography and editing are handled by Nirav Shah and Anthony Gonsalves.
The film has been in production since 2008 and is expected to release on Deepavali, November 13, 2012. The film will also feature actress/dancer Shobhana and VTV Ganesh. Premji and Santhanam will be making a cameo.
STR gears up for Deepavali
Come Deepavali, STR’s much awaited Poda Podi will hit the screens for Deepavali. The film directed by debutant Vignesh Siva has Varalakshmi as the leading lady.
Confirming the film’s release, STR wrote on his microblogging page: ‘Poda Podi will be releasing for Deepavali! Vaalu has been pushed… After a very long time, will be having a Deepavali release.’
The score and soundtrack of the film are composed by Dharan, while cinematography and editing are handled by Nirav Shah and Anthony Gonsalves, respectively.
STR’s nephew Samarth plays his son in this film and a song was shot with him at Hong Kong
