Actress Manthra, who had previously worked with Ajith, Prabhu and Arun Vijay in the past had been out of action for a while now. But, she was reportedly seen at AVM Studios after a gap of seven long years and said that she was there for a reality show, Aayirathil Oruvan, which gets aired on TV.
Actress Aparna Pillai, who heads the creative team in the Studio, confirmed the news, Manthra says, “she was impressed by my presentation and approached me for AO.”
In the yesteryear, Manthra posed a threat to leading ladies like Kushboo, after she was initially introduced as a child artist in films like ‘Geraftaar‘ and ‘Aaj Ka Goonda Raj‘. She also has around 25 Telugu films to her name and halted her career in cinema after her wedding.
Manthra is expected to play a role in upcoming Simbu flick ‘Vaalu‘. However, she chose to remain tight lipped about it.
