Lissy Priyadarshan, the wife of top Bollywood director, Priyadarshan has been issued a court notice by the Kerala High Court in a maintenance case filed by her father.
ND Varkey, the father has complained that she is refusing to pay maintenance ordered by a lower court in keeping with the Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizens Act, 2007.
The court had decreed that Lissy should pay Rs 4500 per month to her father for daily expenses as well as Rs 1000 to buy medicines. But the petitioner has claimed that he has received no money from his daughter since the ruling in January and since he has no source of income is unable to meet expenses especially medical costs.
