It has been an fab year for actress Kavya Madhavan in Malayalam industry. She has signed not one but two movies with the two superstars of the Malayalam film industry – Mammootty and Mohanlal.
Interestingly, both her roles are as different as could be. While Kavya Madhavan plays a homemaker in Bavuttiyude Namathil scripted by filmmaker Ranjith, director Joshiy’s Lokpal will see her in a bold avatar. Says a source close to the actress, “Kavya Madhavan has performance-oriented roles in both Bavuttiyude Namathil and Lokpal.
The former will have her play a housewife who speaks in a distinctly different Nileshwaram dialect. Incidentally, that is Kavya Madhavan’s hometown’s dialect, and she is delighted to be given an opportunity to speak it on screen. In Lokpal, she essays the role of a doctor, who happens to be the ex-flame of the character played by Mohanlal.
