After staging her first theatrical production, Bheeshma The Grandsire, to a packed audience, which included the likes of K Balachander and Rajnikanth, actress Maanu is back with her next.
The Kadhal Mannan actress says, “I’m working on my next theatre production, which has been titled Shakuni. It’s the second in my trilogy series, and the next will be called Sthree. I will be staging Shakuni by the end of this month, and have roped in a popular theatre group from Singapore for it.” Maanu says she has invited some of the biggies from the industry for the first show. She adds, “Last time, I was glad that KB sir, Saran and Rajnikanth sir could make it.
This time around, KB sir and Vivekh will be gracing the occasion. Rajnikanth sir has promised to try his best to make it to the event. This show will aid institutions that fight cancer.
