Young music composer Dharan Kumar is celebrating his birthday today. This year it’s a ‘double delight birthday’ for the musician, for a single number in ‘Poda Podi‘ is in top position in almost all radio stations, and the complete audio of the STR starrer will be launched on Wednesday (October 10).
Dharan, who believes in quality than quantity, is said to have come out with youthful songs in ‘Poda Podi‘. “All of them have enough stuff to strike an instant chord with the listeners,” sources say.
Dharan rose to fame with ‘Parijatham‘, featuring the hit number ‘Unnai Kandene…‘ which marked his debut as a film score composer.
His next release was the soundtrack album to the horror thriller ‘Sivi‘ that starred newcomers. The album received positive reviews and response as well, while Dharan‘s background score was highly appreciated by critics and described as ‘haunting’, and ‘top-class’ that gives the film ‘its true colour’.
Dharan has worked on non-film projects as well. In 2009, he produced a single ‘Sing One More Time‘ as a tribute to Michael Jackson.
The music composer has some promising projects lined up, including ‘Poda Podi‘ and ‘Ethiri Enn 3‘. On his special day today, we wish him a great year ahead.
