Actress Sridevi’s comeback venture English Vinglish, directed by Gauri Shinde and produced by Balki, has witnessed a good opening all over India.
Also, the film has won encouraging reviews from the media.
In its review, DNA said ‘English Vinglish is a great effort at combining meaningful content with light Bollywood entertainment. Take a bow, Gauri Shinde and team!’
While Rediff said: ‘Go watch English Vinglish, and take your mothers along. Ah, spell it English Win-glish, I say.’
Meanwhile in Mumbai on Thursday, the film’s preview turned to be the biggest premiere of the year so far where the entire film fraternity came to cheer this diva who is appearing on the big screen after 15 years.
