The Deccan Chargers franchise has been terminated by the BCCI after it failed to submit a Rs. 100 bank guarantee.
The board had given the franchise till 5 pm today to submit the requirements. The Deccan Chargers had also failed to pay the players’ fees.
However, there are still reports that the franchise has been bought by a Mumbai-based real estate company by name Kamla Landmarc. But an official announcement by the BCCI hasn’t been made yet.
