Nani is going great guns, in both Kollywood and Tollywood, thanks to the success of ‘Naan Ee‘. Close on the heels of the SS Rajamouli directed film, one more bilingual too is being planned with the actor.
If sources are to be believed, Bollywood flick ‘Band Baaja Baaraat‘ will be remade in Tamil and Telugu, with Nani playing the lead role in both the versions.
The movie will be helmed by Gokul, a former associate of director Vishnuvardhan. “An actress who is popular in both the industries will be roped in for the project,” sources said.
Nani is currently playing the protagonist in ‘Yeto Vellipoyindi Manasu‘, the Telugu version of ‘Neethane En Ponvasantham‘. Also, he is the hero of ‘Jandai Pai Kapiraju‘, which is the Tollywood version of Samuthirkani‘s ‘Nimirndhu Nil‘ starring ‘Jayam’ Ravi.
