Even as his current film is getting ready for release, rumors have started to surface about Ameer‘s next – Kannabiran with Vijay.
The director, who has continually worked with Yuvan Shankar Raja since his first film – Mounam Pesiyadhe has reportedly requested the maestro Ilayaraja to work with him for Kannabiran.
This could be great news for Vijay fans as the combo with Ilayaraja has resulted in very successful ventures in the past with the likes of Kadhalukku Mariyadhai, Kannukkul Nilavu and Friends.
The news comes after Ameer expressed his desire on stage with Ilayaraja standing by him. However, the maestro replied with a no stating that Yuvan was a better choice for his style of movies. But, despite everything, the news is that Ameer has been trying to get Ilayaraja into the mix and is itching to work with him. We will have to wait and see how things shape up.

The movie, an action entertainer, has Jayam Ravi playing two roles with very different get-ups. The film has been in the making for a long time and finally fans would see the interesting combination of Ameer-Jayam Ravi.
