Actor Vikram‘s Thaandvam aka Shiva Thaandavam in Telugu had its Music Release event held in the city, a grand occasion, which saw the cast and crew members of the film.
The event saw the leads Vikram, Jagapati Babu, Amy Jackson, Anushka, Lakshmi Rai director AL Vijay, Music composer GV Prakash Kumar.
What has caught our attention is the usage of the poster of a famous book ‘The Immortals of Mehula‘ written by Amit Tripati in this event. The book’s cover page shows an illustration of Lord Shiva (showing his back with long hair & a Trident; Ref: bottom of the story for the original book cover page), has been used at the audio release event.
Though the context of having Shiva as its main theme collaborates with the film, utterly copying the poster, might drive the crew to the copyright trouble. Copying someone else’s art work and the idea is cheap.
Hope the film unit doesn’t get sued by the publisher of the book!
