Popular playback singer Suchitra, wife of actor Evam Karthi, launched a music album titled Suchi Music I Like in Chennai recently.
It is a select collection of poetries from poet Bharathiyar. It was released by EMI Music India. Suchi has sung select poems of Bharathiyar set tio tunes by music director Sai Madhukar.
The event was graced by music composer Devi Sri Prasad, Karthik Kumar, ‘Airtel Super Singer’ anchor Divya, lyricist Madhan Karky.

RJ-turned-singer Suchi has added another feather to her cap. Suchi, who has rendered several hits in films, recently launched her album on Subramania Bharati’s songs.
Titled Music I Like, the album comprises eight songs sung by Suchi to the music of Sai Madhukar.
Speaking on the occasion, she said, ‘This album provided me an opportunity to experiment. It took us almost eight months as we wanted to ensure perfect pronunciation of the words in the songs of the legend.’
