Simbu has urged the media not to spread unnecessary rumors about Manmadhan 2 until he makes an official announcement. The star has said that he is working on the script and will announce once things are finalized.
Manmadhan, which starred Simbu and Jyothika, was one of the hit films in his career with some great numbers. Yuvan Shankar Raja had scored the music for this film. Therefore, expectations are high on the sequel.
There were reports that AR Rahman will be scoring the music for Manmadhan 2 and the recent buzz was that Anirudh is in fray to wield the music baton. But Simbu has put all these rumors to rest by urging the media not to speculate on this project until he makes an official announcement.

Santhanam’s production venture Kanna Laddu Thinna Aasaiya is in the news continually. This film happens to be the comedian’s first production venture and also stars Powerstar Sreenivasan along with Santhanam.
The latest buzz is that Simbu will be shaking a leg with Powerstar Sreenivasan and Santhanam in Kanna Laddu Thinna Aasaiya.
With Simbu making a guest appearance in the film, the expectations have certainly soared up.
Directed by Manikandan, this film stars Vishaka Singh as the female lead. Thaman is scoring the music for Kanna Laddu Thinna Aasaiya.
