Actress Samantha might have lost two biggies, Kadal with Mani Ratnam and I with Shankar, but looks like Lady Luck has beamed bright at her for reports have it that she might be cast opposite Ilayathalapathy Vijay in his next with director AL Vijay.
It was earlier said that AL Vijay was keen at casting Amala Paul opposite Vijay but that doesn’t seem to have materialized, following which he approached Samantha who has reportedly given her nod although she hasn’t signed the project officially yet.
The yet to be titled venture is said to be an out and out commercial one and will go on floors once ‘Thaandavam‘ graces screens and once Vijay wraps ‘Thuppaki‘. It will be produced by Chandrakanth Jain.
