Actress Tamanna’s father Bhatia has refuted allegations made against her daughter by a Hindi producer, that she had failed to honour a contract she signed while making her acting debut in 2003.
‘There is no such clause in the contract and we have a copy of it. Also, Tamanna changed the spelling of her name due to astrological reasons,’ said Bhatia.
A few days ago, Salim Akhtar has moved court against Tamanna, alleging that she has failed to honour her contract with him that requires her to shell out 25 per cent of her earnings for five years to the producer.
Salim Akhtar introduced Tamannah in the Hindi movie Chand Sa Roshan Chehra in 2005. The film was directed by Shabah Shamsi.
