Sources in the tinsel town say that the 3D version of the Rajnikanth starrer Sivaji: The Boss will have a running time of just 137 minutes as against the original version’s 185 minutes. The film has been converted to 3D recently and Rajnikanth was thoroughly pleased with the outcome, said sources close to the filmmakers.
Though the news that 48 minutes of the film has been chopped off will be dampener for Superstar Rajnikanth fans, the expectation to see the Superstar in the 3D version will certainly get the fans to the theatres.
Sivaji is an extravaganza from Shankar with Rajnikanth and Shriya Saran playing the lead pair. The film is slated for release in September this year.
