Actress Sujibala, who was part of movies such as ‘Goripalayam‘, ‘Muthukku Muthaga‘ and ‘Ayyavzahi‘, attempted suicide in the late hours of Saturday, as she was said to be unhappy to enter wedlock with a director.
As her wedding was scheduled to be held today (August 27), she consumed sleeping pills on Saturday night and was admitted to a hospital in Nagercoil by her family members.
According to sources, Sujibala was in love with a dance master. However, her parents fixed her marriage with one Ravikumar, who was the director of an upcoming film titled ‘Unmai‘, which has Sujibala in a crucial role.
Sources added that Sujibala was given treatment in the ICU of the hospital and is out of danger now. “She will be discharged from the hospital soon.”
