Actress Shruti Hassan has emerged a hot cake in Tollywood thanks to the success of ‘Gabbar Singh‘. The Pawan Kalyan starrer remake of ‘Dabangg‘ (which was made in Tamil as ‘Osthi‘) has put Shruthi on top of the Telugu film industry.
Now, reports from Andhra Pradesh suggest that the actress-singer-musician has been paid Rs 1 crore as remuneration for her upcoming Telugu film.
Titled ‘Balupu‘, the movie has Ravi Teja as the leading lady. It is said producer PVP Prasad has paid the amount to Shruti Hassan and received bulk dates from her for the project.
However, circles close to Shruti Hassan refuted to confirm this. “She has been getting what she deserves and she is not the one who asks for more remuneration cashing in on the demand for her,” they maintain.
