Actress Shruti Hassan hardly finds any difference between Bollywood and its counterparts in the south. “For me, Bollywood, Kollywood and Tollywood are all the same,” she says.
The actress-singer-musician wants to strike a fine balance between all the industries. “I would like to act and sing in all the languages. Art has no barriers,” she says.
The elder daughter of Kamal Hassan has emerged a hot cake in Tollywood, thanks to the success of ‘Gabbar Singh‘. A remake of Hindi blockbuster ‘Dabangg‘, (which was remade by Simbu in Tamil as ‘Osthi‘), ‘Gabbar Singh‘ had Pawan Kalyan in the lead.
“I have been getting many offers post Gabbar Singh,” says Shruti Hassan, adding: “But I am choosy before signing any new project. I am eager to do roles that would bring out the best from me.”

Shruti Haasan wants to sing in Telugu?
Actress-singer Shruti Haasan, who recently pocketed Rs. 1 crore as her salary for her next Telugu film Balupu starring Ravi Teja, said that she wants to sing in Telugu as well. Notably, Shruti has rendered her voice for a couple of songs in Hindi and Tamil films.
“I don’t mind singing for a Telugu movie,” she said, claiming that she doesn’t differentiate between Bollywood and the South film industries. “For me, both are the same and I’d like to strike a balance between all language movies.”
