The whole industry is stunned at the pace with which director Bala has completed his upcoming film Paradesi. The national-award winning director does take his own time in making his films and it’s not before some months that he completes his films. He took more than two years in making the Aarya-starrer Naan Kadavul which ultimately fetched him the national award.
Bala has produced and directed Paradesi which has Atharva, Dhansika and Vedhika playing the lead roles. The script of the film is reportedly based on a popular novel for which Bala has joined hands with author Nanjil Nadan. The script is said to be a real-life incident which took place in the 30’s.
As Bala always points out, ‘script’ is his real hero and Paradesi is no diffeent. The shoot had been held non-stop in places such as Moonar, Thalaiyar and in and around Theni District. The shoot has been wrapped up in record time of 90 days, which is too early compared to Bala’s usual standards in making his films.
GV Prakash Kumar has scored the film’s music. Kishore is the editore of the film. The film’s audio launch is to be held in London on 19th September. The trailer of the film will also be screened on that day.
