Actor Salman Khan’s much-awaited Ek Tha Tiger is hitting the screens on Independence day. It is releasing with maximum prints (more than Aamir Khan or Shahrukh Khan’s film) in Tamilnadu.
Directed by Kabir Khan, the movie also stars Katrina Kaif. In his 24-year-old career, it is for the first time that he has teamed up with Yash Raj Films.
‘I enjoyed shooting for the film, infact I think I enjoyed so much that others weren’t able to have fun. It took many days to shoot the film and Kabir was nice enough to let us enjoy and visit the places we wanted to see,’ he said.
Salman Khan plays a RAW agent in Ek Tha Tiger and he says he chose the film not because of the banner or star cast but because of the script.
‘I liked the script that is why I did the film. It is true that you get attracted to all other factors like money, star cast, banner, but it is very important that the script is good.
Ravi Teja vs Salman Khan
The two biggies – Ravi Teja and Salman Khan – will have a head-on clash at the box office tomorrow, August 15th! Yes, Ravi Teja’s Devudu Chesina Manushulu and Salman Khan’s Ek Tha Tiger will hit the screens on the same day. This certainly has their respective fans in frenzy.
Devudu Chesina Manushulu is directed by Puri Jagannadh and stars Ravi Teja and Ileana in the lead roles, while Ek Tha Tiger is directed by Kabir Khan with Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif as the lead pair.
Ek Tha Tiger is poised for a grand worldwide release but it will certainly have a tough competition in the form of Devudu Chesina Manushulu in Andhra Pradesh, opine trade sources.
