The title row between Thuppaki and Kalla Thuppaki came up for hearing today, August 14th at the City Civil Court.
The makers of Kalla Thuppaki have filed a petition in court alleging that the title Thuppaki is so similar to their title and would cause confusion in the minds of the movie buffs.
This case came up for hearing today amidst a lot of expectations and hopes that the interim stay on the title Thuppaki would be lifted. But this Vijay starrer, directed by AR Murugadoss has no relief in sight till August 22nd with the magistrate adjourning the case.
