A song and the trailer of the 3D version of Sivaji: The BOSS were screened exclusively for the media yesterday in Chennai. The film’s producer AVM Saravanan, lead star Rajnikanth, and several others were present along with the media persons to catch a glimpse of the technical wonder.
Speaking to the press after the screening, Rajnikanth said that he is in the film industry right from the black-and-white period to colour to 3D. Sustaining in the film industry this long is purely by God’s grace and sheer luck, said the Superstar who added that he never planned his career at any point of time.

Superstar Rajnikanth’s Sivaji: The Boss, which was directed by Shankar, has been converted to 3D and will be released in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi soon. The trailer of this 3D version was released at the Prasad Labs in Chennai yesterday. While people gathered at the venue did not expect the Superstar to make it to this event, he made a sudden appearance stunning everyone.
Speaking at this event, director SP Muthuraman said, “I wish to state that there are some unwarranted rumours doing rounds on the internet about Rajnikanth’s ill health. But it is clear for everyone to see that he is hale and hearty and his participation in public functions bears testimony to this fact. He had regained health due to the prayers of thousands of his fans; therefore, I request the media not to spread rumours about his health.”
