Ilayathalapathy Vijay’s Makkal Narpani Iyakkam has been working tirelessly for welfare activities like blood donation and distributing books.
According to sources, In a bid to encourage and appreciate their efforts, Vijay had recently invited the office-bearers of his fan clubs from various districts, cities and zones, to his marriage hall in Chennai, and held a big bash in their honour.
The star also gifted gold rings and chains to those who had done exceptional work in their respective regions.
Actor Vijay was quoted saying “Family comes first and each fan should take care of his/her family first. Only then, one should think of doing good deeds. I suggest that you start your deeds in the villages, which are the highest priority now.”
