Kollywood is witnessing the delay episode for mega star movies. Ample evidence is Ajith’s Billa 2 undergoing turmoil over various factors.
Another mega star Vijay is on the completion stage of his Thuppaki. Directed by AR Murugadoss, it is a record breaking short time for the director. Normally AR Murugadoss takes his own time to design a film as happened in the case of Ghajni and 7am Arivu.
It is only on the insistence of Vijay that Thuppaki is to be wrapped at the earliest. According to the crew, nearly 95% of the film is over barring three songs to be shot. Currently the crew is on the locales of Pune for shooting a song sequence.
Given a tentative deadline of August 15 for its release, AR Murugadoss is making more effort to speed up the shots. As Harris Jeyaraj has successfully completed the tracks, it is said the audio launch may take place any time in July.
This will mean that almost a month time would go for the movie release. AR Murugadoss is also very keen on releasing the movie earlier because he is on the verge of making the Hindi version after getting due feedback. Vijay too is on the urge to enter the sets of Gautam Menon’s Yohan: Athiyayam Onru.
