A wrap up party was organised for Thandavam team at a star hotel in Chennai Monday night. The whole unit- from the supporting staff to mainline technicians- took part in the event.
In a statement to the media, a spokesperson of UTV Motion Pictures said, ‘Everyone involved with Thaandavam were invited and given a party thanking them for their excellent cooperation and support, which enabled us to complete such a big film in 95 days.’
‘Vikram, Jagapathi Babu, Lakshmi Rai, MS Bhaskar, GV Prakash Kumar, Editor Antony, Art Director Nagu, Director of Photography Nirav Shah, Director AL Vijay and the entire production team of UTV comprising me and my team were there,’ he said.
‘It was a grand evening and everyone spent time in reminiscence the time they spent together and narrated interesting incidents during the shoot of this film in London, Delhi and Chennai. The Direction team did several skits and mimicry of what had taken place during the shoot with various individuals,’ he added.
Now the team has commenced the post production of the film to release it in September 2012, he concluded.
