Sources in Kollywood say that Kamal Hassan is eyeing August 24th to release his magnum opus Viswaroopam. Kamal, who has also directed this film, is planning to release both the Tamil and Hindi versions simultaneously.
With no Bollywood films slated for release on that week, Kamal Hassan’s Viswaroop has a bright chance of making it as a solo release, say trade sources.
Viswaroopam has been shot extensively in foreign locations such as Jordan and US. The film stars Kamal Hassan in the lead with Pooja Kumar and Andrea as his lead pairs.
Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy have scored the music for this film.
