Reports emanating from the shores of Bollywood say that Vidya Balan, who hasn’t taken a long time to be among the top actresses in Mumbai, is all set to sizzle in a bedroom sequence in her upcoming film titled Ghanchakkar.
Vidya Balan sizzled in last year’s The Dirty Picture, an on-screen adaptation of the life and times of Kollywood’s ex-‘item girl’ Silk Smitha. Directed by Milan Luthria, the film deservedly bagged Vidya Balan her first-ever national award for ‘best actress’.
The award is only a confirmation that Vidya, who has taken on many complicated roles in the past, is game for many more in future.
However, she would be playing a student in Ghanchakkar and has reportedly given her consent to star in a ‘steamy’ bedroom sequence. The director not only wants the sequence to be the highlight of the film but also wants Vidya’s skin to look ‘toned enough’ to enable her to look ‘sizzling hot’ in particular in this sequence and in the film in general.
Vidya Balan is scheduled to go to US to take ‘special treatment’ to get a glowing skin after which the ‘hot’ sequence would be shot. Rajkumar Gupta, the director, confirms the news saying “Vidya would be sizzling in the film and would be ‘bolder’ than any other Indian actress seen on big screen!”
