Director Venkat Prabhu chipped in to cut the cake to celebrate the first anniversary of FAME National in Chennai at the last minute owing to Srikanth’s absence.
It was announced earlier that actor Srikanth would do the honours but some commitments at the last minute kept him away from attending the function.
Several celebrities participated in this event held on July 8th, 2012. Those present included RD Rajasekar, Venkat Prabhu, Aravind Aakash, Mahat Raghavendra, Vasuki Bhaskar, Uma Riyaz, Riyaz Khan, Fathima Babu and Mithran Jawahar.
Every guest was given a sapling as a token of appreciation for their presence.
