Good news to all the hard-core Superstar Rajnikanth fans! The Superstar’s Sivaji hit the screens in 2007 and five years later; now, the film has been made into 3D format. The producer of the film, AVM Guhan, said that Rajnikanth had seen the 3D version of Sivaji recently and was awed by the result.
The 3D formatting was done at the Prasad EFX in Chennai and the film is expected to be released quite soon.
Sivaji: The BOSS is a magnum opus directed by Shankar and produced by AVM Studios. AR Rahman had scored the music for this film.

Even as Superstar Rajinikanth’s first 3D film Kochadaiyaan is fast taking shape, a super hit movie of him is being converted into 3D.
We are talking about Sivaji the Boss, which enthralled the audience in 2007. Attempts are on by AVM Productions and Prasad Lab to convert the movie in 3D, it is learnt.
Directed by Shankar, the film which had Shriya Saran and Suman in lead roles had music by A R Rahman. It featured Rajini in many get-ups and the one that topped the list was ‘Mottai Boss’.
The film revolves around a well-established software systems architect, Sivaji, who returns home to India after finishing work in the United States.
On his return, he dreams of giving back to society with free medical treatment and education. However his plans face a roadblock in the form of the influential businessman, Adiseshan. When corruption also arises, Sivaji is left with no option but to fight the system in his own way.
