No, not Superstar Rajnikanth. This is about Rajni, wife of actor Vishnu. The Vennila Kabadi Kuzhu and Kullanari Koottam actor is currently playing the lead role in Neer Paravai, a film directed by National Award winning Seenu Ramasamy.
And one of the assistant directors of the movie is his wife Rajni. ‘She is a visual communication graduate and she is helping a lot on the sets of Neer Paravai,’ say sources.
Apart from hero Vishnu and heroine Sunaina, the cast includes an impressive list of veteran actors Nandita Das, Thambi Ramaiah, Saranya and Samuthirakani amongst others.
The team shot in Manapaadu, in the Tuticorin area. Vishnu seems to have undergone a makeover for the role, with a different haircut and costumes.
