Recently, she turned a lyricist by penning all the songs in Maalai Pozhudhin Mayakathilae. And now, the multifaceted personality is all set to wield the megaphone.
She will direct a movie titled Appavin Meesai, which will be produced by director Cheran. It is said that the Thavamai Thavamirinidhu and Porkalam maker was mightily impressed with Rohini’s script and came forward to produce it.

The Marubadiyum and Magalir Mattum actress has written all the songs in Maalai Pozhudhin Mayakithalae, which is being distributed by Sathyam Cinemas in Qube theatres through the world.
Actor Aari, who made his debut in Rettaisuzhi is playing the lead role in Maalai Pozhudhin Mayakithalae. Directed by Narayan Nagendra Rao the movie is expected for release later this month.
Shubha Phutela plays the heroine while Subbu Panchu, Sivaji and Balaji play pivotal roles. The musical score for the film was composed by Achu, while the film is produced by Mayuri Sekar. This film has been censored and given a ‘U’ certificate.
