SS Rajamouli is riding high on cloud nine with Naan Ee turning out to be a hit. SS Rajamouli had so far directed only Telugu films but with Naan Ee, he has entered the Kollywood big time. To cash in on the success of his name here, it has been decided to dub some of his popular flicks in Tamil.
To begin with, Chatrapathi, which was released in 2005, will be dubbed and released as Chandra Mouli. It may be mentioned here that the Ram Charan Teja starrer Magadheera was dubbed in Tamil under the title Maveeran earlier.
Sathish Film Corporation, who had released Oh My Friend in Tamil as Sridhar, will be releasing Chandra Mouli. Chandra Mouli, starring Prabhas and Shriya Saran, will be released in September this year. Music for this film has been scored by Maragadhamani.
