Midnight’s Children will premiere at the Toronto Film Festival this year, confirmed Salman Rushdie. Incidentally, the film is an adaptation of the novel Midnight’s Children penned by Rushdie.
The novelist revealed that he had written the screenplay of this film and worked with director Deepa Mehta throughout the filmmaking process.
Midnight’s Children stars Satya Bhabha, Shriya Saran, Shabana Azmi, Anupam Kher, Siddharth Narayan, Shahana Goswami, Samrat Chakrabarti, Rahul Bose, Seema Biswas, and Darsheel Safary.
The film is slated for release in October this year.
