There were rumours that K Balachander’s yesteryear classic Thillu Mullu will be remade in Tamil with Mirchi Shiva reprising the role played by Rajnikanth.
However it seems to have witnessed some cold weather thanks to a legal notice sent by Kalakendra Productions seeking a stay on remaking the movie. The petition has been posted for hearing on a later date.
Thillu Mullu was a blockbuster comedy film that featured Rajnikanth, Thengai Srinivasan, Madhavi and Sowcar Janaki.
The remake version was to be directed by Badri.
