Beauty queen Lara Dutta was not new to Kollywood. She was seen opposite Arjun in Arasaatchi. And now, she is set to start a fresh innings, in a film titled David.
Directed by popular Bollywood filmmaker Bejoy Nambiar (Of Shaitaan fame), the film has Vikram and Jeeva as the lead actors. Lara Dutta has been paired oppostie Jiiva in this film.
Writing on her microblogging page, Lara posted: ‘Off to shoot for Bejoy Nambiar’s David. Being shot in Hindi and Tamil simultaneously! Unique experience of shooting in two languages!’
Jeeva is playing a musician in David, while Vikram a fisherman. Interestingly, the name of both of them is David.

This is a good phase in Jeeva‘s career. If its Nanban, early this year, getting to work with Shankar, the actor went on to bag some hot projects with Mysskin ( Mugamoodi) and Gautam Menon ( Neethane En Ponvasantham). Now, the actor who has not been seen in any commercials till now, will be debuting on small screens with a TVC for a top DTH provider. The brand has Shahrukh Khan, as its ambassador for the north.
Reports say that the actor has been offered a huge sum for the commercial. Jeeva also has Endrendrum Punnagai and Ravi K Chandran’s Yaan in his kitty, will start shooting for the ad campaign very soon.
