Actress Oviya is understandably peeved at all the rumours emanating about her reported ‘affair’ with a wealthy businessman based in Kerala.
The actress, who is quite happy that her latest film Kalakalappuhas been declared as a hit film, is not at all amused by the rumours springing up from nowhere linking her with a businessman.
Oviya is considered to be one of the highly talented and fast-progressing actresses among the younger brigade. Critics have given ‘thumbs up’ to Oviya and have predicted a bright future for the girl, who debuted as heroine in Tamil films opposite Vimal in Kalavaani. Whatever aspersions were cast on her relegating her to ‘homely heroine’ category, Oviya answered those in style by indulging in a carefree glamourous number in Kalakalappu.
Unconfirmed reports say that Oviya is in love with a person, very much like contemporary actress Ananya who was reportedly in love with a person who was already married and was elder to her by many years. Oviya, however, has denied all these allegations and dismissed them as mere rumours.
“Just now, I’ve started feeling my way into the world of films. In such a backdrop, it is totally unwarranted and unnecessary to write such things about me as it would have an adverse effect on my career. Till now, I haven’t fallen in love with anyone; in fact, I just don’t have the time to indulge in such luxuries,” concludes Oviya.
