Shankar to rope in Deepika Padukone for ‘I’?
Shankar and his team is back to work, commencing shooting for his Mega budget ‘I‘. The team was at AVM studios recently to work for their first schedule. Amy Jackson, who plays one of the female leads has tweeted that she was done with her first schedule. The film is produced by Aascar Ravichandran. The film reportedly has a segment which is set in old times, similar to the British rule segment in Indian.
Another news oozing out of the unit is that Shankar is trying hard to rope in Deepika Padukone, as the other female lead. If everything goes well, she will be seen in the second half of the film, say reports. Deepika, as we know, is making her Kollywood debut with the Rajinikanth starrer Kochadaiyaan. Deepika Padukone not in Shankar’s I
Deepika Padukone has refuted media reports which claimed that she will be part of Shankar’s forthcoming film I, which has Vikram in the lead role.
Speaking to reporters in Mumbai, Deepika Padukone said, ‘I got a google alert about it, but they are all rumours. I am not doing Shankar’s film.’
Deepika Padukone’s new look was much appreciated in Cocktail. But the actress does not believe on crash diets.
‘The idea is not to repeat the look I had in Cocktail. It was apt for that film. Of course one wants to experiment with the look..I want to do something different,’ she said.
