Last week you could have read in these columns about David, a film that has brought together Vikram and Jeeva for the first time. Now more interesting details are emerging out.
The movie tells the story of two Davids, one a fisherman, and another a musician. Each of them faces a conflict and how they overcome it forms the rest of the story.
Vikram plays the role of a fisherman and Jeeva plays musician. The film has been shot in two different cities. The story is told in a unique double narrative style laced with a lot of music, drama, action and humour.
The movie is being directed by Bejoy Nambiar, who shot to fame with Bollywood movie Shaitan. The two stories are shot by two different cameramen. Rathnavel has done the fisherman story and Sreejal Shah is shooting the musician story. The film is produced by Getaway Films and Reliance.

Jeeva going places
After a huge hit in Ko, Jeeva is going places. He is acting ion Mugamoodi, directed by Mysskin and Gautham Menon‘s Neethane En Ponvasantham (with Samantha).
In Neethane En Ponvasantham, Jeeva is teamed with comedian Santhanam and the duo is expected to create a laugh riot. ‘Right from our first film together, Siva Manasula Sakthi, we have developed a great rapport. He is a cool guy and a natural entertainer, both on and off the sets, says Jeeva.
The actor also raves about working with Gautham Menon. ‘It’s like Hollywood. He is so organised and meticulous with every detail. And he gives you the freedom to improvise, so long as it falls in line with the script.’
Jeeva is busy with David and Endrendrum Punnagai.
