Ilayathalapathy Vijay, who recently came down to Chennai to celebrate his birthday along with his family, friends and fans, has jetted back to Pune to complete the shooting of his forthcoming movie, Thuppaki with director AR Murugadoss.
Thuppaki, an action entertainer which showcases Ilayathalapathy as an encounter specialist, is progressing at a brisk pace, with just 3 songs to be canned.
Kajal Agarwal is playing Vijay’s love interest in the film, which has Vidyut Jamwal and Jayaram playing support roles. Sathyan will be seen in an important role as well.
Kalaipuli S Dhanu is producing Thuppaki, which has music composed by Harris Jayraj, cinematography by Santosh Sivan. Editing is being handled by Sreekar Prasad.
Director AR Murugadoss is likely to release Thuppaki on Aug 15, to coincide with the film’s theme.
Surya starrer Maatraan is also slated to release on the same day.
