Shriya Saran will play a Princess in the bilingual titled Chandra. The film, directed by Roopa Iyer, will be made in Tamil and Kannada. The actress will be paired up with Kannada actor Prem and Ganesh Venkatram of the Unnai Pol Oruvan fame.
On selecting Ganesh Venkatram for the role, Roopa Iyer is reported to have said that the script demanded a tall and handsome hero to play the NRI and he is fitted in perfectly well.
Ganesh Venkatram is happy to have bagged the offer as the role is very meaty and he will be directed by the award winning director. He is also looking forward to share the screen space with Shriya Saran and Prem.
