To commemorate Isaignani Ilayaraja’s birthday, a web site was announced to be launched. Speaking at this event, the maestro said that though he is not very keen on the web site, he agreed to it because it would be a platform to connect to his fans. The web address and other details will be announced soon, he added.
Ilayaraja will answer queries about music and post news about his current projects in this site, it is said.
Speaking at this event, director RK Selvamani said that when wanted the musician to score tunes for seven songs for Chembaruthi he did it within one hour. Manoj Kumar wished the maestro on behalf of his dad and director Bharathiraja.
Karthik Raja and Bhavatharini wished their father and thanked him for gifting music to them. Yuvan Shankar Raja could not make it to this event as he was busy with work in Mumbai.
