Dhanush is getting ready to start his first Hindi project titled Raanjhnaa. The National Award winning star will play a Varanasi boy in this film and director Anand L Rai wants him to get into the skin of the character to essay the role perfectly.
In order to get the role right, Dhanush has been given DVDs of some Raj Kapoor hits like Shree 420, Awaara and Mera Naam Joker, say newspaper reports. The star is reported to have said though he has a number of films to his credit including a National Award for Best Acting, every new assignment is a challenge to him and he takes it seriously to give a quality output.
