A Court in Kerala has come to the help of popular actress Urvashi. It gave a direction to the actress’s former husband Manoj K Jayan to hand over the custody of their daughter Thejalakshmy alias Kunjatta to Urvashi during the vacations.
The Ernakulam Family Court Judge N Leelamani said the ten-year-old girl will stay with her mother during Onam and Christmas holidays and the first half of the summer vacation.
The verdict was passed ex-parte with Manoj K Jayan (who too is a popular actor in south Indian films) failing to appear before the court. Also, apart from the above mentioned vacations, Manoj K Jayan should ensure that Thejalakshmy was with Urvashi every second Saturday, said the court order.
