Billa 2 with 40 cuts?
Speculation has been rife that Ajith‘s most awaited film of the year Billa 2 has to undergo 40 cuts for a U/A certificate. A section of the media yesterday reported that the producers have approached Mumbai Censor Board for certification. Meanwhile director Chakri Toleti has dismissed all such rumours and clarified that the satellite rights of the film might for a U/A certificate.
However the director did not reveal any information on the release date of the film and also said that the final call will be taken by distributors Aascar Films.

Billa 2 producers unhappy with A certificate
There has been a widespread speculation about the delay in the release of Ajith‘s Billa 2. Here we bring you the inside story…
Apparently the film recently received an A certificate from the Censor Board with cuts and this has not gone well with the producers. “Censor certification process not over yet. Will not compromise on film cuts. Next steps only after getting certificate,” producer Sunir Kheterpal posted on his twitter page. Now the latest is that the Regional Censor Board has referred Billa 2 to the Mumbai branch. A special panel will review the film again and will decide on the certification.
Well, let’s wait and see whether Thala and his team will get an U/A certificate so that all his fans can enjoy the film.
