Producers of Billa 2 seem to have finalised a date to release the film. The much awaited Ajith starrer will hit the screens on Juy 13.
Directed by Chakri Toleti, the movie is produced by In Entertainment and Wide Angle Creations. In Tamil Nadu, it will be released by ace producer Aascar Films V Ravichandran.
Big plans are being made for the film’s release, which is expected to simultaneously hit more than 1500 screens all over the world.
Billa 2 may be postponed further
From what we hear, Billa 2 may not hit the screens during the second week of July as announced earlier. It is said that Aascar Films V Ravichandran, who is distributing this film, has plans to release another film around this time and hence he does not want Billa 2 to clash at the box office.
It therefore looks like Ajith fans have to wait a little more to see their idol on the silver screen. The date of release will be announced very soon, say trade sources.
Yuvan Shankar Raja has scored music for Billa 2, which has Parvathy Omanakuttan and Bruna Abdullah as the heroines. Billa 2 is a prequel to Ajith’s earlier hit Billa.
