Sources in the tinsel town say that the makers of Billa 2 are aiming for a U certificate.
Some days ago, this Ajith starrer went in for censor certification and the officials had demanded a few cuts or to go in for an Adults Only certification.
The buzz now is that the filmmakers are keen on U certification as they want it to have a universal appeal and are making all the arrangements for it.
Billa 2 will release on July 13th and so will its Telugu dubbed version David Billa – The Beginning. The promos of this film will go full swing from July 1st onwards.
Billa 2 Will Be Out on…
The Tamil and Telugu versions of Billa 2 will release simultaneously on July 13th, confirms trade sources. The film has been titled David Billa – The Beginning in Telugu. As a part of the promos, a grand first look function is being planned at least a couple of weeks before the film’s release.
Further, plans are afoot to release this Ajith starrer in over 1200 screens worldwide with the producer Sunir Kheterpal confirming that the film will be released with French, Arabic, Malay and English sub-titles.
In France alone, the film will release in at least 10 screens with French sub-titles. Billa 2 is directed by Chakri Toleti and stars Ajith in the lead role. Parvathy Omanakuttan and Bruna Abdullah play the female leads in this film which has music by Yuvan Shankar Raja.
Ajith’s Workout
Director Vishnuvardhan has said that Ajith is taking all steps to ensure that his looks befit the role in their forthcoming film which is yet to be titled. The director revealed that Ajith is spending five and half hours every day in a week to get that fit look needed for the film.
The final outcome of this hard work at the gym will be evident when the film hits the screens. Ajith’s trim and fit look will certainly be the talk of the town.
The shooting of this film was progressing in Bengaluru when some fans, in their frenzy to meet that star, went berserk on the sets. This prompted the film unit to stall the shooting and return back to Chennai. Sources say that the team is scouting for a new location now.
