After making two action-packed ‘masala’ films, choreographer-turned-director Prabhu Deva is said to be gearing up to make a musical love story this time, but in Hindi.
Prabhu Deva had made his debut in Bollywood as a director with Salman Khan-starrer Wanted is basking in the success of his second film – Akshay Kumar-starrer Rowdy Rathore, which was released recently.
Now, his third venture will be a musical love story, produced by Tips, if agency reports are to believed.ject, Sources say that since Prabhu Deva has planned a musical subject, he has approached AR Rahman to work in the movie. Reports say that the two would be meeting very soon. If that happens, it would be the first time that the two will work together.
Producer Kumar Taurani was quoted as saying that ‘We have Prabhu Deva on board. He would be directing a film for us (Tips). It will be a musical love story.’
The producer wasn’t willing to give away too much about the movie, however. Taurani’s son Girish Kumar will be making his debut as an actor in this yet-to-be named film, which may go on floors in August.
Prabhu Deva’s last Tamil directorial venture in Tamil was Vedi with Vishal in the lead.
