AR Rahman and Shankar share a wonderful rapport. They worked together in lots of films including Kadhalan, Gentleman, Jeans, Indian, Mudhalvan, Sivaji, Endhiran: The Robot et all. However for his last Nanban Shankar chose to team up with Harris jeyaraj.
Now Shankar is back teaming up with AR Rahman for his next titled I. It has cinematography by PC Sriram. The star cast includes Vikram and Samantha in the lead, and Santhanam for comedy.
Malayalam star Suresh Gopi and Sivaji Ganesan’s eldest son G Ramkumar too are playing important roles in the film.
The costumes are designed by Mary Vogt, who has done films such as the Men in Black series while stunts are by Anul Arasau and Peter Ming of China.
Rising Sun Pictures from Australia joins hands with Srinivas M Mohan for visual effects.
Dialogues are by Subha. The shooting for the romantic thriller is believed to begin on July 15 in the city.
